After many months of development, the time has come: Our eSagu RePricing for Otto has successfully left closed beta 🎉
Last Thursday, Otto gave its final approval ✅. This marks an important milestone, and we can now open the system to other retailers.
This is a special step for us: Otto is now our fourth RePricing 🧩 alongside Amazon, eBay and Kaufland.
🛠Development and closed beta
Each marketplace has its own requirements, processes and technical characteristics. This is precisely what makes re-pricing challenging in practice: it is not enough to simply copy an existing system. Interfaces, data logic and processes must be carefully adapted to the respective marketplace to ensure that everything works reliably.
This is precisely why development took longer than originally planned. It was important to us not to go live as quickly as possible, but to build a solution that is viable in productive use.
In the closed beta, three selected retailers have already tested the system under real conditions. This phase was important for us to evaluate real market data, refine processes and make final optimisations.
📈 Why re-pricing makes sense on Otto
Because competition is constantly changing there too: prices change, new suppliers emerge, others disappear. Anyone who manages larger product ranges manually will quickly reach their limits.
Automated re-pricing helps to
- react more quickly to market changes ⚡
- secure your own competitiveness 🛒
- manage prices in a more structured and strategic way 🎯
👀Try it now
As only three retailers participated in the closed beta, we are still very interested in feedback from practical experience.
If you would like to test Otto RePricing, please feel free to contact us. Further experience from different product ranges and strategies will help us to further improve the system.
We look forward to your feedback!
