Over the past few years, more and more products and features have been added to eSagu. This is of course a good thing because it has made our software more powerful and flexible. At the same time, we noticed that many features are not always discovered immediately. Even customers who have been using our software for a long time sometimes only find certain functions by chance, despite the fact that they could save a lot of time in everyday use.
That is why we decided to complement our manuals and documentation with short screencasts.
Starting with Amazon RePricing
We have created a series of short videos that explain features directly inside the application.
Current topics include:
- Price gaps
- Price gaps based on shipping lead times
- BuyBox strategies
- Business pricing
- Private label repricing
- Margin calculations
- Bulk editing
- CSV files
- Exceptions
- Automatic pricing rules
- Article view
Why we are doing this
Our goal is not simply to explain individual menu items. We want to show how features are actually used and the ideas behind them.
Especially with a topic like repricing, many settings work together. In many cases it is easier to understand these relationships by seeing them in action instead of reading through documentation and settings pages.
A small note for our international users
Right now the videos themselves are still recorded in German. Fully English videos will be added throughout the year.
However, thanks to YouTube's automatic translation and subtitle features, the videos can already be watched in English today. The only limitation at the moment is that the user interface shown inside the videos is still in German.
This is only the beginning
For us, this is also an interesting step. Developing software is one thing. Explaining how to use it effectively is something else.
Our goal is not only to build new features but also to make sure they are easy to understand and easy to use.
Amazon RePricing is just the first step. More products and areas will follow over time.
